| Picture that it’s the fourth weekend in April. You’ve cleared the weekend and are in the car. The windows are down, and you’re listening to your favorite song. You park and open the door. Immediately, the sweet aromatics of spring flowers hit your nose. A symphony of moos from newly born calves fills your ears. Your eyes pop as you see the tower of freshly-boxed sugar snap peas that were picked that morning. Can you see it? The Piedmont Farm Tour is your chance to relish in farm life—to delight all the senses by visiting the farms and meeting the growers who feed the region. Since 1995, we’ve partnered with Weaver Street Market to bring those in the Triangle region of North Carolina the Piedmont Farm Tour. And after two years of a pandemic, we’re delighted to reboot the annual tour by opening 33 farms the fourth weekend in April across seven counties for you and your loved ones! From flower fields to pastures and shiitake logs, we’ve got it all on the 25th anniversary of the Piedmont Farm Tour. Will you join us?
