Earth Month is a time to reflect on our impact on the environment and an opportunity to adopt a lighter footprint. There are things that each of us can do to reduce our impact – shop sustainably, consume less, travel locally, and eat plant-rich diets. In addition, we can plant gardens and habitats, advocate for wild animals and wild places, engage in green initiatives in our communities, and support organizations dedicated to protecting the environment.
The issues facing the invertebrates of our planet are many and serious, yet they are an irreplaceable part of every ecosystem on Earth.
