A few milestones from our work in 2025 include:

• Continued delivering world-class animal welfare training across the globe—including Animal Welfare Officer and Poultry Welfare Officer training through Bristol University and AssureWel through the Soil Association—ensuring that amid much uncertainty and disruption, knowledge and progress continues to grow.
• Whole Foods Market announced that Certified Regenerative by AGW is now an approved certification for products sold in its 530 stores across North America and the UK, ensuring this higher-welfare regenerative claim has even more impact. Along with AGW’s other approved certifications, Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grassfed, this acceptance brings new opportunities for producers and brands and drives change at scale.
• Launched this year, the revised and streamlined Certified Regenerative by AGW standards make compliance simpler and more accessible while preserving AGW’s hallmark rigor. Growing interest from farms and brands alike reinforces AGW’s position as a trusted leader in verified sustainability.
• We are also proud to celebrate 12 consecutive years of ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation, the international benchmark for consistency, impartiality, and excellence in certification, assuring that AGW’s certifications remain among the most trusted in the world.
