| You Can Make an Impact for Invertebrates this Year-End
The issues facing invertebrates are many and serious, and this time of year, we look to you, our loyal and generous supporters, to fund our essential work in 2026. All of our achievements—every acre of habitat planted, every natural area protected from pesticide sprays, every species protected by the Endangered Species Act—were made possible because of you.
Here are tax-wise options for you to make an impact this year-end: |
Donating stock can result in a bigger gift to conservation at no additional cost to you. When you donate stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have increased in value, you may avoid paying capital gains tax. Xerces stock transfer information is available at xerces.org/donate/stock. |
IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are 70½ years or older, you can give directly from your individual retirement account (IRA). You may give up to $108,000 per person each year without incurring income tax on your withdrawal. These QCDs may also satisfy your required minimum distribution depending on your age. |
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
Donor-advised funds offer an easy and flexible way to manage your giving. Recommend a gift to Xerces from your DAF today and put your funds directly to work protecting your favorite invertebrates. |
| With your help, we can continue to rebuild invertebrate habitat, fight pesticide overuse, and halt the loss of critical invertebrate species across North America. However you choose to give, we are so grateful.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Scott Black, Director
