| It is important to take time and say THANK YOU to all of you: our members and donors, volunteers, community scientists, partners, and those of you who support our mission. It is your loyalty and commitment, your feedback and engagement, your inquisitiveness and desire for change that have brought the Xerces Society to where we are today. Xerces is a worldwide leader in invertebrate conservation, and we owe it all to you.
We recognize your efforts to make the world safer for the diversity of life. We are grateful to all of you who:
- Advocate for change in your communities and support policies that protect the environment.
- Make forward-thinking adjustments to your daily lives, such as eating less meat and dairy, purchasing only what you need, or opting to walk or ride a bike instead of driving.
- Create habitat for invertebrates and other animals and protect that habitat from pesticides.
- Support us financially with your hard-earned dollars. You keep our work going when government funding is threatened.
- Take the time to read our publications, attend Xerces webinars and events, or listen to our podcast. Our impact grows when you put the knowledge we share into action.
- Reach out to us with words of kindness, appreciation, and encouragement. Please keep sending us your stories and pictures, and sharing your hopes and dreams. It really makes our day.
I am honored to be in this movement with you. Together, we have the power to create change.
Warmly,
Scott Black, Director
