| Dear Dennis,
This week we’re sharing news about upcoming events (hope to see some of you there!), two grant opportunities and a reminder for certified producers about getting your products in our holiday roundup. The days are getting shorter, but just as full. Please let us know if we can be of assistance in the weeks ahead. Thanks for reading.
Upcoming Events: AGW in WY and PA
AGW will be on the go and a part of 2 events in the next month. The first is the The Wyoming Food Coalition’s annual conference in Riverton, WY, November 13-15th. AGW will be speaking about certification programs as part of the event and talking with interested farmers and ranchers. After that, we will be at The Beyond Grass & Grain workshop on December 5th at the Rodale Institute in Kutztown, PA. This full-day session is aimed at pig and poultry farmers who are interested in integrating trees into their operations—for shade, fodder, and protein-rich crops—and learning how to move “beyond grass (and grain)” into tree-based systems. Let us know if we’ll see you at either of these events!
Holiday Product Promotion
AGW-certified producers, if you’re offering seasonal specials, gift baskets, or other holiday-related AGW-certified products, we’d love to help promote them. To be included in AGW’s holiday roundup, please send the following to AGW’s Marketing Services Coordinator by 11/17:
- Product name + description
- Price
- Purchase details
- Photo (optional)
