Two Senator James D. Speed awards were presented to two of our local community’s finest young agriculturists (17 year-old Caleb Davis of Franklin County, and 17 year-old Mazie Bunn of Wake County).

The awards plaques were presented by Franklin County Commissioner Mark Speed, and Joe Nusser, president of the North Carolina Small Farms Association.
