plus the latest from the AGW family of producers

Dear Dennis,

In late September, A Greener World staff gathered in Sacramento, CA for our annual team training. As a remote and international team, we welcome the chance to be together any chance we get. Our time together included workshops, team planning, and hands-on field training at California Olive Ranch in Artois where we’re working with the brand on a multi-year transition to regenerative farming practices. With good discussion, insightful questions and amazing food from many of the farmers we certify (thank you!), we came away energized and ready for the year ahead, and we remain grateful for you because we couldn’t do what we do without you. You can see a fun photo recap of our time together here and read on for the latest news from our program.

New Certified Regenerative by AGW brands: Squeeze Citrus and Braga Fresh

We are excited about two new brands recently added to the AGW family. Squeeze Citrus in GA has become the world’s first citrus producer to be Certified Regenerative by AGW (with oranges, grapefruit, mandarins, limes, lemons and kaffir lime leaves available nationwide). Additionally, Braga Fresh, a leading California grower, shipper and processor, has achieved certification for its sweet baby broccoli and romaine hearts under the Josie’s Organics brand. Both businesses use management practices focused on building soil health, integration of cover crops, and attention to beneficial insects, pollinators and biodiversity—all with the goal of helping the ecosystem find balance and thrive.

Certification isn’t just a checklist—it’s a working relationship, built on trust, transparency, and shared responsibility. Read more about the importance of communication throughout the certification process in a recent blog post called “Why Communication Matters.”
