Dear Dennis,

We’re sharing some important announcements and great press this week! Please read on to see how you can contribute feedback for AGW’s proposed standard amendments (part of our regular standards review), apply for a label assistance grant (now extended and available to producers more than once), farm planning resources and great press about AGW-certified American Cheese Society award winners and the Certified Regenerative by AGW program in Forbes. Thank you for reading, and please be in touch with questions or comments.

Forbes Magazine Feature

The Certified Regenerative by AGW program and California Olive Ranch were featured in a recent Forbes article, How California Olive Oil Producers Are Adopting Regenerative Agriculture. California Olive Ranch’s company-managed farms are the first olive farms in North America to be certified under the Certified Regenerative by AGW program, bringing more than 4,600 acres under verified regenerative production.

Be on the lookout: AGW’s 2025 Producer Survey

Our annual producer survey is one way that we check in with farmers in our network (both certified or not) about ways we can better meet your needs through our services, content, marketing materials and more. This year’s survey is coming your way soon. We invite you to take five minutes to share your input, and thanks in advance.

Labeling Assistance Grants EXTENDED through end of 2025

AGW’s Labeling Assistance Grants have been extended through the end of 2025, and producers can apply more than once. These grants support producers in the process of incorporating AGW logos on their products—including covering label printing costs, branded egg carton purchases, slaughter plant fees for adding AGW logos to your label, and more. Please note these grants are only available for animal products holding AGW certifications marketed in Canada and the U.S. Operations must be certified and in good standing to receive funding, and funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Marketing Services Coordinator, Callie Casteel, at callie for information on how to apply.
