What is AGW?

A Greener World (AGW) is the nonprofit organization that operates four robust certification programs that were created alongside scientists, veterinarians, and real farmers. We provide certifications that consumers, retailers, and brands trust, with industry-leading standards that farms can achieve, to help every farm unlock growing markets.

Why do we do what we do?

We envision a world where farming benefits people, animals and the environment through integrity and transparency. We are committed to providing practical and achievable certification programs for farmers—who bring their AGW-certified products to retail spaces around the world. According to a 2022 report from theFood Industry Association, 80 percent of shoppers say transparency indicators for value-based information such as animal welfare, fair trade, and labor practices are important when shopping. AGW certification situates your products for the shoppers driven by values-based purchasing—with transparency, trust, and integrity at the heart of the work.
