Each year, we survey the farmers, ranchers and food producers in our networks to better understand their needs and challenges and tailor our work to support them. After completing the analysis of our 2023 Producer Survey, we put plans in place for new and expanded resources. So, what does this mean for you? We want to give you an update on how farmer feedback shapes what you’ll see from us in the months ahead.
Reconnecting shoppers and food producers is one of the key components of A Greener World’s mission, and through our annual survey we heard from our network of farmers that they want to connect with YOU. From finding new ways to promote their products to discerning shoppers, to deepening consumer understanding of common food labels and the meaningful impact of AGW labels in the marketplace, we’re here to offer trusted support.
As our work continues to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, you’ll see us share more information on misleading food labels, relevant news on sustainable food and ag, and short, shareable videos about AGW’s certification programs. We are also expanding our resources available to farmers, so that they have more tools to establish valuable connections with their customers.
While our work is largely based off the feedback of the farmers and producers we exist to support, we are also planning to survey our non-farmer audience this year. We’ll share more details soon, so stay tuned – but we’re happy to hear from you anytime.
