While this is our last farmer update for the year, we are already gearing up for an exciting year ahead and look forward to welcoming even more sustainable, independent farmers to the AGW family in 2024. We hope you and your families have a warm and joyful holiday season—and may the very best things come to you in the new year. Please read on for important reminders and final updates for 2023.

Year End Office Hours and 12/20 shipping deadline

A Greener World offices will be closed for the holidays Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 1st. Emails and voicemails will be checked periodically, and if you need immediate assistance during this time, please call 800-373-8806. Please plan ahead for any orders of egg cartons, labels, or other merchandise from the AGW online store, as the deadline for shipping before the holidays is Wednesday, December 20th. We will fulfill any orders received up to this date, and normal shipping will resume in January.

FINAL REMINDER: 12/15 Grant Deadline for Climate-Smart Commodities project

The deadline for submitting your interest to participate in our USDA Climate-Smart Commodities grant project is tomorrow, December 15th. If you are interested in enrolling and have not yet completed the interest form, please do so through this link: https://www.tfaforms.com/5089826

If you’re on the fence and would like more information, we encourage you to review last week’s recorded info session, consult the program FAQs or feel free to reach out with any questions. While eligibility for this grant includes farmers in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, we will share grant information for Canadian producers as we learn about relevant opportunities.
