This important initiative provides emergency support to farmers affected by natural disasters and other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your support and know it truly makes an impact! As we make our way toward the end of the year, we’re not slowing down for the season quite yet. Please read on for some important dates and deadlines for our USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) grant project along with an announcement about the newest issue of Sustainable Farming and technical resources.
WEBINAR: Info session on AGW’s USDA grant project
In our last update, we shared information about our USDA grant project to help producers transition to and strengthen regenerative practices and access growing markets. If you’ve been on the fence about considering participation, have questions—or if you’ve already applied and just want to learn more about the project—we hope you’ll join us for an informational session on December 5 at 12pm ET. Grant Opportunity: Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) Fund-a-Farmer Grants
Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) is now accepting Fund-a-Farmer Grant applications. Grants of up to $3,000 are available for farmers to improve and expand pasture for their animals, as well as those who are seeking or who already hold Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW (A Greener World) certification. The application deadline is January 15, 2024. Learn more and apply online.

The Fall 2023 issue of AGW’s Sustainable Farming magazine is ready to view online.
