USDA Under Secretary Taylor to Hold Press Call from Singapore
WASHINGTON, Oct. 31, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary Alexis M. Taylor is overseas this week on a trade mission to Southeast Asia expanding export opportunities for U.S. food and farm products to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the world’s fourth-largest market.
Under Secretary Taylor, who leads USDA’s Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs mission area, is traveling with leaders from a cross-section of U.S. agricultural sectors, many of whom also represent U.S. growers and producers who are pioneers and early adaptors of climate-smart and sustainable agricultural practices.
On November 2, Taylor will be joined by leaders from three state departments of agriculture for a press call from Singapore to highlight the success of the trade mission. Reporters interested in participating must RSVP to receive dial-in instructions.
