| Dear Dennis,
This week, we’re sending along several updates from the AGW program. First of all, please read the information below about an exciting grant project, soon opening for applicants (for farmers both currently AGW-certified and not). This is a wonderful opportunity to be compensated for regenerative practices on-farm while gaining access to growing markets. We also wanted to remind certified producers about our logo use requirements as well as share poultry welfare resources with all of you. Wishing your farms and families good fall and harvest seasons, and please read on for updates from AGW.
Calling all Regenerative Producers: Are you a farmer interested in receiving funding to implement regenerative, climate-smart practices? AGW’s USDA Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities grant project, in partnership with RAFI-USA and the Soil Health Institute will soon be accepting applications. The project enables farmers to transition towards and strengthen regenerative practices, gain access to growing regenerative and climate-smart markets, and become connected with farmers committed to environmental stewardship. Learn more and sign up for updates related to this grant project here — and keep an eye on this space, we will be announcing open enrollment for this project soon!
For AGW-certified producers: AGW Logo Use Reminder
To help us increase consumer recognition and awareness of AGW-certified businesses like yours, and in keeping with the amendments from the recent standards review this Spring, we now require certified operations to display the appropriate AGW logo(s) on certified products unless otherwise agreed with AGW.
