As the holidays approach, we want to pause and take the time to say thank you to all of you!
donors
We’re especially thankful for our donors, members, and funders. The Xerces Society is a donation-supported nonprofit organization, and our financial supporters make everything we do possible. We appreciate donations both big and small. To put it simply, we could not successfully protect invertebrates without our cherished benefactors.
volunteers
We truly value our volunteers. Xerces Ambassadors represent our organization across the country at outreach events, which enables Xerces to do meaningful work in more places. Our community scientists volunteer to record sightings of various invertebrates, which helps us track and learn about the native and endangered species that we want to protect. There are so many volunteers giving their time and talent for invertebrates—planting habitat, spreading the word, and more.
farmers
We’re exceptionally appreciative of our grassroot supporters. These are the people practicing invertebrate conservation in their daily lives. They’re the gardeners planting native habitat for pollinators and the neighbors spreading the word to others. They’re the farmers and Bee Better Certified brands working to align agriculture practices with pollinator protection. They’re the land managers and policymakers making strides for conservation. They’re Bee City and Bee Campus USA affiliates upgrading local habitat for insects and the X Kids acting as young invertebrate protectors. The list goes on. Grassroot efforts combine to make a big difference for invertebrates!
staff and partners
We’re incredibly grateful for career conservationists. These are folks who have literally made it their job to help invertebrates and other wildlife. From the many talented and caring individuals at our partnering organizations, to our dedicated and passionate staff at Xerces, their tireless efforts make a difference for invertebrates. Thanks for everything that you do!
Our hearts are full and our work will go on in 2023 and beyond because we know that you are beside us. You have the power to create change. Keep doing what you do best!
