Sincerest thanks to all of you who completed our 2022 AGW Producer Survey. Our team has started analyzing results, and we are grateful for thoughtful comments and input you shared. They help shape our content and service offerings in the coming year and provide important feedback about our services. We recently made an exciting announcement about a new product featuring Certified Regenerative by AGW corn (see below), and please be sure to review the grant possibilities below in the event they apply to you. Lastly, the holiday season will be here before we know it, and our Marketing Team is excited to feature holiday promotions, specials, gift boxes, etc. from AGW-certified producers. Zack’s Mighty Launches World’s First Tortilla Chip Made with Certified Regenerative by AGW corn
We recently announced Zack’s Mighty Tortilla Chips as the first product of its kind to be made with corn Certified Regenerative by AGW. This innovative certification provides a whole-farm assurance of regeneration and sustainability, measuring benefits for soil, water, air, biodiversity, infrastructure, animal welfare and social responsibility. Pandemic Relief for Food and Farmworkers
In late October, the USDA announced that 14 non-profit organizations and one tribal entity have been awarded grant funding to administer the Farm and Food Workers Relief Grant program. Grant Opportunity: Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE)
Northeast SARE offers grants to farmers to explore new concepts in sustainable agriculture through research and education. All types of farms are encouraged to apply, and the deadline for proposals is November 15. Learn more and apply.
