| USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is looking for a bright, energetic, and committed professional to serve as the Center for Veterinary Biologics Policy, Evaluation, and Licensing Director. This position is in Ames, IA.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities concerning the regulation of veterinary biological products. You will help advance the establishment of licensing requirements and standards for biologics production facilities and administer labeling and advertising requirements for licensees distributing veterinary biological products. Additionally, you will lead the development of scientific test standards for evaluating the purity, safety, potency, and efficacy of veterinary biologics.
