Have you ever wondered how farm certifications can help to make it easier for you to make greener food shopping, cooking and eating choices?
We’re excited to share this piece from ABC News 7 on A Greener World’s Animal Welfare Approved by AGW certification, designated by Consumer Reports as “a seal worth searching out.”
When it comes to food labels, Consumer Reports says, “Know which ones are meaningful and which ones are not so that your purchasing decisions really have the impact that you want them to have.” Consumer Reports has rated Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW as the only “highly meaningful” label for farm animal welfare, outdoor access and sustainability—and the only animal welfare certification in which they have confidence.
The segment also features AGW-certified farmer Donna Simons who raises Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW laying hens at Pound Ridge Organics in New York. Check it out to see our farmers and certifications in action! |
