This week, we’re extending the conversation about lab grown “meat” with two new blog posts and sharing resources on sheep welfare and regenerative planning. While all of you reading this email make every day Sustainability Day, we celebrated #SustainabilityDay on Wednesday, October 27 and kicked off a mini “How to Get Involved” series to share how people can make small changes in their daily lives for the good of the planet. AGW Submits Comments to FSIS on Cultured “Meat” + Invites You to Take A Stand for Transparent Labels
This week, we submitted comments to FSIS demanding clear and transparent labeling of meat and poultry products “comprised of or containing cultured cells derived from animals” (aka “lab meat”). It’s in question whether or not these product will be differentiated from real animal products at all, and now is the time to weigh in. You can read our full comments, and if they resonate with you, be sure to share this blog post with your customers and networks and invite them to submit their comments by December 2.

Producer Survey Update: Thank You!
Thanks to all of you who participated in our 2021 AGW Producer Survey. We had an unprecedented response, and you provided us with a wealth of comments and information to review so that we can make sure we are meeting your needs through our farmer services, content, resources.
