Dear Dennis,

Labor Day is right around the corner (or Labour Day for our friends and neighbors in Canada). While days off in food and farming are few and far between, we hope you’ll be able to find some time this weekend for a good meal and a national acknowledgement of the essential work you do day in and day out—and an extra appreciation for your contributions to your communities and sustainable agriculture. The rise in extreme weather fueled by climate change makes resilient farming systems even more important all the time, so thank you for your part in a food secure future.

This month on social media, we’ll be sharing all the good news we can find related to certified producers and the AGW program, so be sure to share yours with us—and check out the great press mention AGW received in the Wall Street Journal below to kick it off. Thank you for reading, and always feel free to get in touch; we love to hear from you.
