June 22, 2021

It’s Pollinator Week, an annual celebration for the wonderful animals that pollinate our farm fields and gardens. Many animals, from songbirds and small mammals to grizzly bears and coyotes get a large portion of their diet from the berries, nuts, seeds, and other fruits that pollinators help produce. Taking a week to collectively celebrate these animals that help feed the planet, seems like the least we can do. Here are some tangible ways for you to get involved: become a community scientist, sign the Pollinator Protection Pledge, join us for an event, or plant a pollinator garden. We have all the resources you need to get involved at xerces.org/get-involved.
