ADVISORY: Secretary Perdue and Commissioner Gottlieb to Hold Town Hall Meeting TOMORROW

(Washington, D.C., June 4, 2018) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D. will hold a town hall meeting with FDA employees in Silver Springs, Maryland TOMORROW, Tuesday, June 5th to discuss collaborative measures to enhance food safety and continue their formal agreement signed in January.

WHAT: Secretary Perdue and Commissioner Gottlieb will hold a town hall meeting with FDA employees on efforts to enhance food safety and continue their formal agreement. Following the town hall, the Secretary and Commissioner will hold a media availability.
