  Park City is an adventurer’s dream come true. Skiing, rock-climbing, mountain biking, and more. There’s outdoor adventure for every season. In the late 1990’s, development of land in the area was fast and furious. Subdivisions popped up seemingly overnight.
Dr. Paula Swaner-Smoot couldn’t see that happen. She set aside 190 acres of land in memory of her late husband, Leland. He had a love of the great outdoors and open, natural spaces. That was the beginning of The Swaner Nature Preserve.
