Contact: USDA Press ADVISORY: Secretary Perdue in California Sunday and Monday (Washington, D.C., November 3, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in California Sunday and Monday, November 5th-6th, to meet with local farmers and producers. The Secretary will be in Modesto on Sunday to hold a town hall with local producers hosted by the California Farm Bureau. On Monday, he will join the Western Growers at Grimmway Farm in Arvin for a round table with local producers. Secretary Perdue Leads Town Hall and Media Availability WHAT: Secretary Perdue will join a town hall conversation with local producers before holding a media availability. WHEN: SUNDAY, November 5th at 2:30 p.m. PST WHERE: Agricultural Center for Education Arena, Student Center Drive, Modesto, CA 95358 Secretary Perdue Holds Media Availability Before Round Table WHAT: Secretary Perdue will hold a brief media availability before hosting a round table conversation with local producers at Grimmway Farm.
