Perdue in Leesburg, Virginia – Public Schedule for May 1, 2017 (Washington, DC, April 28, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will unveil an interim rule on Monday, May 1, 2017 designed to provide flexibility for school meals. Perdue will make the announcement during a visit to an elementary school in Leesburg, Virginia. Perdue will continue on to a technology center where he will connect with Future Farmers of America chapters via YouTube Live. Secretary Perdue will hold the following public events.
