USDA awards projects that protect, restore wetlands

| Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack yesterday announced that the USDA will award $44 million to projects in 12 states that protect, restore and enhance wetlands on private and tribal agricultural lands. The projects are being funded under the Wetland Reserve Enhancement Partnership (WREP).
