We have blocked the DARK (Deny Americans Right to Know) Act once, we can do it again. Fewer than 2 months are left before Vermont will become the first state to begin enforcing its mandatory GMO labeling law, setting a precedent for GMO labeling for the rest of the nation.

Meanwhile, federal legislators who oppose mandatory GMO labeling are doing everything they can to stop Vermont’s law. Some Senators are trying to rally support from their colleagues for another version of the DARK Act to block mandatory GMO labeling, and prohibit states from requiring mandatory labeling.

Senators asked to hear from farmers about GMO labeling! Please sign on to this letter from Just Label It/EWG (Environmental Working Group) saying that, as a farmer, you support federal mandatory on-package GMO labeling.
