| Dear Dennis,
This week, we’re sharing two grant opportunities, a new blog post, as well as an upcoming virtual summit highlighting AGW’s insights on sustainability certifications and using them to communicate value to your customers. Thank you for reading, and please be in touch with any questions, comments or ways we can be of help to you in the season ahead.
Virtual Summit: Supply Chain Sustainability Stories, 9/18 11:30am EDT
As both suppliers and brands evaluate their current systems and rethink their supply chains, there is much to consider. AGW’s Emily Moose will join other industry experts and present on the topic of sustainability certifications and how to communicate their value. Learn more and register here.

Labeling Assistance Grants: UPDATED TIMELINE AND AWARD AMOUNTS
AGW’s Labeling Assistance Grants have been extended through the end of 2025, and producers can apply more than once (or for more than $500). These grants support producers in the process of incorporating AGW logos on their products—including covering label printing costs, branded egg carton purchases, slaughter plant fees for adding AGW logos to your label, and more. Grants are available for animal products holding AGW certifications marketed in Canada and the U.S. Operations must be certified and in good standing to receive funding, and funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Marketing Services Coordinator, Callie Casteel, at callie for information on how to apply.

Ridge Shinn, a grassfed beef pioneer, grazing advocate and author of Grass-Fed Beef for a Post-Pandemic World believes this study falls short and leaves out critical considerations.
