| Dear Dennis,
Greetings in the new year! With both the California wildfires and winter storms across parts of North America, we hope you are safe. Please remember your weather-related emergency planning—and if you’re an AGW-certified producer and you need assistance due to impact of storms on your farms and livestock, please be in touch with us at info or (800) 373-8806. We look forward to working alongside you in the year ahead. Thanks for reading.
REMINDER: Labeling Assistance Grants
Making label updates in 2025? AGW is now offering labeling grants to support producers in the process of incorporating AGW logos on their products (ex: label printing costs, branded egg carton purchases, slaughter plant fees for adding AGW logos to label, etc.). The maximum grant is $500 per operation and is only available for AGW-certified animal products marketed in the U.S. and Canada. Operations must be certified and in good standing to receive funding, and funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Marketing Services Coordinator, Callie Casteel at callie for information on how to apply.
Event Season…Need materials?
Our Marketing Team members are preparing for event season, which kicks off at the PASA Conference in Pennsylvania in early February, followed by Expo West in California this March (let us know if you’re going too—we’d love to connect!). If you’re also heading to events in your area as an attendee, exhibitor or presenter and need networking materials, please be sure to visit our online shop for AGW-merchandise or let us know what type of AGW information you might need. Don’t forget to include the appropriate AGW logos on your business cards, digital media and more—just be in touch for help.

Farming is in the news a lot these days, and we regularly field inquiries from reporters writing articles about certification, high-welfare or regenerative farming and more. A recent blog post, Read All About It, covers some helpful advice for farmers when engaging with the media (like always research the reporter first!). Whether you’re looking to promote sustainable practices, get more customers or learn how to tell your own stories—without a press officer or PR person giving you a script!—here is some advice that can help.
