| We are thankful for our donors, members, and funders. The Xerces Society is a donor-supported nonprofit organization, and our financial supporters make everything we do possible. To put it simply, we could not successfully protect invertebrates without you.
We value our volunteers. We depend on volunteers to help plant and restore habitat. Xerces Ambassadors represent our organization at outreach events across the country, connecting with communities that we would otherwise not be able to reach. Our community scientists collect data and record sightings of various invertebrates, which gives us the information we need to best protect these animals.
We are appreciative of our grassroots supporters who practice invertebrate conservation in their daily lives. They are the gardeners planting native habitat for pollinators and the neighbors spreading the word to others. They are the farmers and Bee Better Certified brands working to align agriculture practices with pollinator protection. They are the land managers and policymakers making strides for conservation. They are Bee City and Bee Campus USA affiliates upgrading local habitat for insects and the X Kids acting as young invertebrate protectors. The list goes on. Grassroots efforts make a big difference for invertebrates!
We are grateful for career conservationists. From the many talented and caring individuals at our partnering organizations, to our dedicated and passionate staff at Xerces, your tireless efforts make a difference for invertebrates.
Invertebrates are resilient and our work will continue in 2025 with you beside us. You have the power to create change. Keep doing what you do best!
Sincerely,
Scott Black, Director
